LADY ROC LACROSSE CLASS OF 2010 ANNOUNCES SIGNINGS

 

Rochester, NY (FEBRUARY 4, 2010) (VIA Business Wire and Sports Wire). “Lady Roc” Women’s Lacrosse Team is pleased to announce that the following seventeen (17) High School Senior players have signed letters of intent to attend the following colleges:

 

Chelsea Borrino, Webster Thomas High School: Lock Haven University

Taylor D’Amore,  Canandaigua Academy:  Johns Hopkins University

Abbey Friend,  Canandaigua Academy: University of North Carolina

Ashley Herbst, Pittsford High School:  University of Louisville

Bailey Knapton, Canandaigua Academy:  Marist College

Julia Koska, East Rochester High School:  Edinboro University

Anna LeGrett, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School:  Mercyhurst College

Haley Marafioti,  Canandaigua Academy:  Duquesne University

Lindsay McKinnon, Fairport High School:  Hofstra University

Lindsay Powell, Honeoye Falls-Lima High School: University of Notre Dame

Mrs. Linda Michele founder and co-director of Lady Roc stated,

 “The college recruiting process for women’s lacrosse has evolved to a point where travel or club team lacrosse is an essential component of being seen by college coaches. This year we had a similar outcome as we had a lot of our players recruited at several national events, and we are excited to be able to provide such a promising opportunity for these girls as well as our up and coming players.”
