Linda Michele, Head Coach
Coach Linda Michele was just recently (November 2008) inducted into The Rochester Chapter of US Lacrosse Hall of Fame, class of 2008. Linda Michele started Lady Roc Elite Women’s Lacrosse in 2001. She currently leads the lacrosse team at East Rochester High School where they held the championship for Section V in 2000, 2002, 2003 and were the NYS runner up in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. Linda is an East Rochester High School graduate 1978 as well as SUNY Cortland BSE 1982. And Coach Michele also earned a masters from Russell Sage College.

Beth Stone, Assistant Head Coach
Beth Stone is Director of Physical Education at Nichols School and has coached girls lacrosse since 1982. A varsity and modified coach at Nichols, Beth was a founder of the Midwest Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association in 1982, the league in which they still compete today. Together with Linda Michele, they organized the NYS Women’s Division National Tournament Teams for years and were the original coaches for the first four Empire State Games WNY girl’s lacrosse teams. Beth presently serves as Vice President of the US Lacrosse Women’s Division Board of Governors, President of the USL High School Coaches Council, a member of the US Lacrosse National Teams Program, is USA Elite Team Manager, and is Chair of the Competitions for the Federation of International Lacrosse, Women’s World Cup.
Craig Stewart, Director and Goalie Coach
“Coach Stewy” or Coach Stewart is a 1979 Rush Henrietta graduate where he earned three years of Monroe All County for boy’s lacrosse as a goalie. Coach Stewart also attended Ithaca College, where he excelled athletically in both Lacrosse and Soccer, and he was named to the 1983 USILA Honorable Mention All American team, in Men's Lacrosse for the position of goalie. And in 2005, Mr. Stewart was named as the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Varsity Lacrosse team at the often nationally ranked Monroe Community College Tribune’s, where he is the goalie coach. Coach Stewart is also currently the Assistant Coach with Pittsford High School Women's Varsity Lacrosse. He is the also founder of what was formerly Stewy’s Angel’s Lacrosse Team which was a Penfield , NY based women’s travel lacrosse team for girls in grades 6 – 12 with over 100 active players.
Wayne Smith, Coach
Wayne Smith has coached both men’s and woman’s lacrosse for the past 11 years. In the past three years he has held the position as the Girls Varsity Lacrosse coach at Penfield High School. In 2007 he was chosen as “Coach of the Year” in Monroe County, NY. In 2007 he and his team won the Section V Championship, the Monroe County Division I title and Western Regional’s, on their way to being runner up in the New York State championship Tournament. Coach Smith also was co- head coach for Stewy’s Angels in 2008.
Coach Smith is also currently a Physical Education teacher at Cobbles Elementary School in the Penfield School District.
